CSNS Senior Syndicate Water Safety

In the Senior Syndicate at College Street Normal School we have been doing water safety. The reason we do water safety is because if we fell out of a boat or went in very deep water. If we did not no how to swim then we are more likely to drown.

We learnt how to open our eyes under water. The reason we opened our eyes underwater was because if we fell over bored, and we needed to open our eyes to see where we were then we woul be afraid to do it.

We learnt what to do if we fell over bored if we fell in the ocean. We learnt how to stay afloat above water. We heald our breath for as long as we could. Zahra K held her breath the longest. We learnt how to get in a pool safely. We don't just jump in because if it was shallow we could hurt ourselves.  And if it was deep we could drown.

We also dived under water to get little rings. We swam to the end of the pool without stopping. And we learnt how to swim with a flutter board and stay afloat with a flutter board.
