Father's Day writing

In GRi11 2.0 we have been working on our Father's Day writing.  Here is my Father's Day writing.

My Dad Is amazing.  We have great times together.  We have a lot of fun. I love my dad so much ❤️.  He is very kind and lovely.  My dad has dark hair and it is like a browny colour.  He has brown hazel coloured eyes.  He has a job as a painter.  Everyday when he comes home from work he has paint on his hands face legs and arms and he has in his eyes as well. 

 My dad's dad has a dog called Jazz and every time we go to his house he jumps up on us and he gives us scratches and it hurts. Jazz also pees everywhere when we come over.

My dad always wears a hat wherever he goes.  Because when he was little his ears always got sunburnt so he went to the doctor and they said that he will have to wear hats for the rest of his life or the top of his ears would be cut of.

I love you dad so much I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day.❤️

Haiku poem

In GRi11 2.0 we have been doing some haiku poems.  A haiku poem is when the first and last lines have five words and the middle line has seven words here is my haiku poem.

My Role In The Production Is...

In week Ten of Term 2 College Street School is doing a Production called Cinderella and Rockafella.

In the production My role is a dancer and a gymnast.  As a gymnast I am one of the first people on stage and I need to do cartwheels down the side of the stage. As a dancer in the production I am part of a clock and I have a very big role in the dance.

Well enough about My role Lets talk about the production. The production there are heaps of different roles we have Cinderella, Rockafella, ugly sisters, Mirrors and a whole lot of different roles. Even the boys From GRi11 2.0 room 9 and 20 are doing are jump jam.

There are some talent acts like Gymnasts, juggler, and a few other acts. I am very exited about the production I am bouncing of the walls. It is going to be a really fun two nights.

This video is about my sign language.  The reason I made this video was because it was sign language week. I learnt how to do this from a website that my teachers found and it has all the letters and the signs for the letters.

GRi11 2.0 fast track

In GRi11 2.0 we use something called fast track.  We use it to keep track of or work.  The reason it is called fast track is because its fast to track.  Every week we will have a range of different tasks.  We have LITERACY, INTERGRATION, MATHS and OTHER.  We have a week to finish them. We have our names and the tasks that we need to finish. Once we have finished a task we have to put in the link and fill in the box green to know that we are done.

Sometimes at the end of the week we won't have finished everything , and sometimes we have to stay in at lunch and finish the tasks.  These are some of the tasks we have.  Blog post, writing, shared reading, inquiry,  studyladder, mathletics, problem solving and sometimes we will have spelling.

We have a timetable in our book that we write down in what we did and what time we did it.  Every half an hour we either have a different task or we stay on the same one.  We can access fast track in google classroom in GRi11 2.0 home page.  We use google classroom for our learning.

I do recommend other schools use google classroom.  We have google classroom because it is easy to access and each student will get a copy of the work that is set.  So we don't need to make a copy of the work.

Traditional Teaching Style and Color Symbol Image

On Wednesday the 10th of may 2016 Mr R and Miss G were dressed all old school and were acting really strict.  And we had tables and chairs in rows and name tags.  We wern't allowed to smile, talk, laugh, cough, or do anything fun.  We had to sit Girl, Boy, Girl, Boy.  We all had the same work at the same time.  We did roll/notices,  maths,   dictation,  adjectives,  dictionary skills, chanting, handwriting, eating,  marching and assinghed play.  

When we were finished our handwriting we had to stand behind our chairs.  Mr R started to say to some people to get one thing from your lunch box and sit back at your place.  Mr R also said to us bite, chew, bite, chew when we were eating.

Then we went outside in lines one line of boys and one line of girls.  So we could do marching.  Miss G tought the girls how to march and Mr R tought the boys how to march.  Then we started to march back and forth On the quad.  After about five minutes of marching we had assinged play.  We were put into groups of six.  My group had two games first we had to sit and watch one group play line tag then our next game was Passes we had to throw a basket ball backwards and forwards it was sooooooo boring.  

After the bell rung for the end of morning tea we had to sit in our lines again and do more marching.  Then we went inside class and the teachers started laughing so much and we had a big laugh and a discission about why they did this.  Then they made a google slide for us and we had to put in the color, symbol and image of what we thought of when we were doing all of this.  And we had to do one for our class.

The adventures in ... Forest Escape

Last week we created  pick a path stories in slides. We had to plan and make our story better many times.

Senior Syndicate Sports

Every Tuesday afternoon we do senior syndicate sports.  We do heaps of sports rotations,  but my favorite is circuits.  In circuits we do a lot of different kinds of sports.  My favorite is crazy catch.  What you do in crazy catch is you throw the ball at the crazy catch net and try to catch it.

We also do hurdles,  skipping,  hula hoops,  lunges,  sti ups,  planks and a lot of other stuff to.  We get five minutes on each rotation. If you are the last class on circuts then you need to pack up and take all of the equipment back to the P:E shed.

We have tyres,  crazy catch nets,  bats,  balls,  mats,  hula hoops,  ladders and skipping ropes.  There are normally people everywhere.  And sometimes people end up getting stuck in a tornado of people. Well that is our regular Tuesday afternoon.

The Amazing SLEEPOVER!!!

On Friday the 29th of April I had a sleepover with my best friend Milla.   We had candy, coke , popcorn and a lot of other yummy foods.  We stayed up till about 4:00 am.  And we got up at about 7:00 am.  At about 7:00 pm I ran into my room and jumped on my bed and leant on my Ipad and the screen cracked. I ran with my Ipad to my mum and told her exactly what happened.  She said to leave my Ipad alone for a few minutes.

It was midnight I ran and got my Ipad and went on to the app store to check if I had any new updates it said that colour switch needed an update.  It took forever to update then finally it was done.  Milla and I both went on to colour switch it came up with a new mode"LINE" we both yelled. We stayed up for ages playing colour switch.   "What time is it" I moaned.  It's 3:00 am Milla said.

"I'm hungry" we both mumbled.  We ran into the kitchen our tummys grumbling.  We opened the pantry door and chose something to eat.  Milla and I were being really silly in the cuboard.   We were pretending that we were on a judge show.  Then we ran into bed and watched some TV.  My mum came out and told us of for being really loud.

She said that we had to split up.  She put me in my room and Milla stayed out in the lounge.  Then we had no choice but to go to sleep.

My Trip to the South Island

Kenz Ella it's time to wake up and get in the car.   Ahhhhh I yawned.  I slowly got dressed.  I got in the car then fell asleep.  Finally where are at the ferry.  We waited in two lines for about 1 hour.  Finally we are on the boat.  How long will the boat ride be I asked.  Three hours.  We ran upstairs to the cafe please can we get something to eat we moaned.  Okay fine.  We ate at the playground then we played.  How many hours left now  two and a half hours mum said.  Okay.

Two hours have passed.  We have passed all the windy and cold weather.  Yay.  Can we go to the lookout please okay let's go.  Brrrr it's cold out here.  Look I can see Picton.  C'mon lets go back to the playground before we have to get of the boat.  The boat stopped we went out to the car and waited till we could go.  We drove off the boat. And went to my uncle peters house.
